As all you people waiting for me to get to your drawing know, I been very busy in and out of the shop. My travel schedule is being put together for the coming year, So far you’ll find me in February in Philly and Detroit, (two of my favorite cities) then off to Columbus, Baltimore, Copenhagen and back to Amsterdam in the following months and then I’ll be finishing it off in Colorado for the Paradise tattoo arts convention. I am sure there will be some trips added in between and a few stops around the country to visit some tattoo friends but so far it’s looking like a fun travel year to come.
I have been involved with some very large tattoo projects going on with some very dedicated clients, Chris has a nice Tiger back piece in the works, as does Jay with his underwater sleeve, Dan’s Octopus covering his chest and whole upper arm is outlined and soon to be starting color, Carrie’s ocean scene is almost done as is Ben’s Koi fish sleeve. There are many more in progress and they have all been multiple sitting tattoos so I have no recent finished photos but I’ll get them out there as the get completed…. and when I learn to use my camera.
I am back to machine building for you interested tattooers, a limited edition of
Seven color machines will be done at the beginning of the New Year. Pros only, (and I do check you out). Message me for more information.
I also have been featured with a thirteen page spread in the current issue of International Tattoo Art Magazine , I personally haven’t seen it yet, I haven’t been able to find it anywhere but I have been told its out now, so please let me know if you see it, maybe your work is in there?
Other than that its work as usual, lots of drawings, tattooing of course, planning for the great future to come, O yea, I got some prints coming out in the next few months and maybe a few other art projects. Please keep an eye on the shops website www.midnightmoontattoo.com or my personal website, mathewclarke.com for all that good stuff.
Well that’s all for now. I hope your all doing great and thanks for reading. – Mat
